Alternatives runs a crisis pregnancy counselling service, and related activities, and was started within St Andrew's Church in 1994. By the time of the merger to form Memorial Community Church, Alternatives was an independent charity and is now based at Forrest House, 66 Rowntree Clifford Close, Liddon Road, Plaistow, London E13 8AB.
