Spooky Sleepover in the Belfry!

Some brave young people are taking the challenge of spending a whole cold, dark winter's night sleeping at the top of the bell tower, on the hard floor of the belfry under the bells. Will you sponsor them?

They are helping to raise money to repair the tower so the rain doesn't come in, and restore the bells, which are a memorial to 169 local men killed in the First World War,  so that lots of local people can visit the bells and find out what they mean. You can sponsor them, or just contribute to the appeal, here.

Before we leave them in the tower, we are having an open afternoon from 3 pm on that day, and a fundraising dinner  at 6 pm - do come along!
