Sponsored Bike Ride
Five members of Memorial Community Church, plus a couple of friends, took part in the Friends of Essex Churches Trust annual “Ride and Stride” on Saturday 12 September 2009. They cycled 30 miles, visited 11 country churches, and raised
£1,359. Half of this will go towards the bell tower repairs, and half to the FOECT which is a major funder of our repair project.
